Verified ReviewerNon existent customer service.
I received an excessive amount of reminders for my vet appointment. The vet was late.
Afterwards I tried to place an order with a 30% off code for my first order. It doesnt work. I sent a message, but customer service is out of the office. I place the order anyway because my pup needs help.
I paid an extra $15 to have the order by Tuesday. The order did not even ship until Tuesday. I have sent numerous messages, tried to call, the phone number says to text, so I did that, too. Not one response.
You also cannot talk to the same vet all the time. You have to explain everything over and over to whoever answers your questions.
VERY FRUSTRATING!!! Especially when your pet needs help.

Nobody home for website support
If it worked, it would be a great service. I spoke to the doctor, she put in the order.
My turn now to check out. Whenever I try to check out the website wont let me. It says I have to buy a membership first. OK, one problem, it wont let me buy any membership.
And the whole cycle repeats. They did charge my credit card $37. but I show no orders shipped under my Dutch account and no email or text. Meanwhile my dog is in discomfort for who knows how long till they help me, if ever...
I shoulda gone to the vet. Too many glitches in the software
User's recommendation: Up to you if you wanna take chances. Not when a dog is hurting. Wake up!

User's recommendation: They took my money without asking me if they could take it and that that's not proper so I want them to send my money back

Verified ReviewerTheir website doesn't work and their customer service is terrible. After asking for a refund, they only offered half. They're disreputable. Contacting the FTC now.
I tried to get a refund based on the fact that their website doesn't work and was told I could only get half of a refund. What business does that?
Just this one. If I went to Walmart to get a refund, they would never offer half.
'Dutch' is a scam. Buyer beware.

Verified ReviewerOvercharged improper Customer Service
My bank has gotten involved in the dispute. I haven't heard anything at this time from them regarding this matter.
The $30 I see in my account is actually from my bank while they help me with this dispute…shame on you Dutch!
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund.
Thank you to either Dutch or Pissed for helping put the $ 30 back into my account
However, their app and their lack of customer service has made it horrible for me as I was overcharged by more than $30 on the last visit. I am disabled and Im on a limited income And when too much money gets taken out of my account I suffer. They do have an 800 customer service number, but youre only told to contact them via email or their messaging service which lacks to say the least. I was told I would receive a $30 Discount added back to my bank however that has not happened.
Now Ive had to get my bank involved as well.
This is utterly disgusting Service. Thinking about getting my yearly membership back as well.

Verified ReviewerDelay of one prescription
I order 3 prescriptions and I only received only 2 of the prescription. My dog was really sick and I paid for express shipment and I didnt get notice until late last night that the last one was delivered @ the Postoffice, but it was closed by then.
It took several days to get the third one, and I still dont have it.
My dog Buddy should have been on all three prescriptions. I would like to get rein-versed for a portion of the shipping.

they can't get a prescription right for basic things like flea and tick. The customer service is horrendous.
Just go to your local vet. By the time you get done screwing around trying to straighten things out at Ditch, you would have saved money by going to your local vet.
Dutch is an epic failure when it comes to pet tele-health.

Today June 6 2024, I purchased Dutch membership in the attempts to purchase affordable medicine in addition having the ability to see a licensed vet immediately for my dog Scott. Scott is a shitzue mixed, 15lbs.
However, from observation alone, I knew Scott had to be seen in person. So, I was able to have him seen, but sadly was informed, that Scott had to be put down due to stage 4 oral cancer. I no longer have a need for Dutch.
I am just requesting a full refund before 24 hours. Thank you.
User's recommendation: Yes very affordable and quick.
No customer service. No contact number that works. Sent wrong meds with no apology. Refuse refund.
Ordered chewable Apoquel. Shipped regular tablets.
No customer service.
No phone contact. Take your money and run.
User's recommendation: Stay away

Dutch shipped my cats medication to the wrong address twice. They insisted both times they shipped it to me.
Yesterday I sent them a picture of the prescription that the post office finally located and it showed they had the wrong address. Prior to that the representative said they could have the prescriptions sent to a local pharmacy and since then I've been ghosted.
They got my money and don't care that they were wrong and my cat almost went without her meds.
The doctors are nice but that's where it ends. This is a shady company that only cares about stealing my hard earned money and then refusing to take responsibility when they were wrong.
User's recommendation: Don't waste your time unless you're in a pinch to see a vet

Verified ReviewerAmazing Service!
Amazing! Our 2 car-scared cats picked up a respiratory infection from a neighbor's cat.
After signing up for a year with Dutch for only $79, we had 2 separate appointments with 2 different vets at Dutch for no additional cost, and both experiences were great. Both vets were local, and since an antibiotic was needed, we were able to transfer the prescriptions to CVS for only a $5 transfer fee.
We avoided having to traumatize our babies with a car ride for FAR LESS than it would have cost to take them to a vet's office. We're super glad we discovered this service!!
User's recommendation: Transfer meds if possible. Their meds are priced higher than Chewy and other places.

I would give zero stars. Denzel from customer service is unprofessional.
My dog's meds were on auto-shipment. I asked for them earlier since he was due to run out the day they're due. It took me 5 hours to get the rep to understand this. Also, a 20 percent discount is supposed to automatically apply for flea and tick meds for annual members.
I also had a $25 Dutch gift card. The rep couldn't figure out how to apply it. It took them hours. They charged my credit card and supposedly refunded it.
The Rx was written by a vet in December. The site wouldn't allow me to bypass a vet when requesting a refill even though I had refills remaining. So Denzel finally finished a 3-minute task after wasting my time for over 5 hours got the stuff ordered and supposedly billed properly. Three days later, I just looked at the website, and it hasn't been shipped.
I inquired about why. They told me an NJ vet didn't write the Rx. They didn't pay attention to the fact that this is the refill from January. So now, my dog's meds won't come in time.
Thanks so much, Dutch. I'm supposed to be on vacation this week, and I can't even take my dog outside. I asked several times for a supervisor to contact me.
No one did. I'm extremely pissed.

Verified ReviewerThis has to be a scam
What good is veterinary care of medications they prescribe never make it? Worthless.
I signed up for Dutch at the beginning of the year with a yearly plan. The first sign of trouble was with my account. I was able to sign up and see a vet the same day, he was great. He tells me what he is going to call in the prescription and tells me I'll see the order shortly.
Within 15 minutes I get an email saying it has processed and to confirm the order. I go back to the website and when I try to log in I get a screen asking me to sign up for an account. Frustrating but I understand technology isn't perfect. Contact "customer service" and they say they cannot find my email.
I tell them that I have already been charged, had a visit and several emails. The workaround was to have the prescription called in to a local pharmacy. I authorize that and wait, I call the pharmacy and nothing is there. I reach back out to "customer service" and they then say "the pharmacy you chose cannot dispense what is ordered, do you have a Walmart or Costco nearby?" Unfortunately that email went to my spam folder (probably because of the huge influx of promotional emails they were sending after the account was created) finally found that email and let them know Costco would be fine, they say they'll let the pharmacy team order it and let me know when it's been called in, then I hear nothing.
I asked multiple times to go ahead and cancel my account with no reply. At this point I figure I've already paid the money might as well use the service for the year. So my senior pet, bless his heart, started showing signs of a UTI. I can make a vet visit see a wonderful vet She recommends something for his UTI something for his dry skin.
I go ahead and place the order with Dutch They send me an email saying it's processing and that it'll be delivered by Friday. Jokes on me for trusting them again because it's Friday medication still hasn't even left the facility. I reach out to "customer service" who tells me Oh when we say we're shipping medications it can take 4 to 8 days which is contrary to the email that I initially had saying that it had chipped in a previous email that said that if you order during the weekday it's 1 to two business days. My appointment was Wednesday morning so Friday makes sense, if it has actually left there warehouse.
Overall the vets are great but again how good is a vet if the medication they prescribe never makes it to the pet that you're ordering stuff for.
Hopefully this medication arrives shortly because again, my dog has a UTI, and I'm just going to cut the rest as a loss this service is a waste of money. It is now Saturday night and the medication is somewhere but still awaiting pickup by USPS.

They say they can handle pets with recurring UTIs. I paid $132 for a Dutch membership to avoid the $500 I pay at the local vet for recurring UTIs.
The Dutch vet spoke to me for 10 minutes and told me to take my dog to the local vet.
So I spent $132 to be told to go pay my regular $500. Ridiculous!
